See attached. The fields we require to successfully import an asset are as follows:
Asset Number
Asset Name
Asset Type
Asset Status*
* Note while asset status is not required to perform the import, any time you need to make a modification to the asset hereafter will require you to set the Asset status before you can save any modifications to the asset.
*** IMPORTANT *** Please ensure that you have spelled Groups, Categories, Category Options, Statuses, Priorities, and eHD Locations in your CSV as you have them in eHD, otherwise the asset import utility will create new Groups, Categories, etc, with the mis-spelled name. However, 9.0.5 and newer versions will not create Categories or Category options that don't already exist in your database.
