The Dashboard functionality currently does not support a self-signed certificate. To resolve there are two choices:
1. Obtain an SSL certificate from your Certificate Authority for your eHelpdesk instance.
2. You can force your local machine to accept the unsigned certificate by using the installcert java utility.
Attached are both the installcert utility as well as the steps to create the certificate.
This must be done on a per-machine basis, for each computer you want to run the dashboard on.
