How To Upload Files to Grouplink’s FTP Server
In order to upload files into Grouplink’s FTP server you could use the FTP client that is integrated with Windows Explorer or you could use a third party FTP client (FileZilla, WinSCP, SmartFTP, etc). Do not use Internet Explorer nor Firefox, or any other internet browser.
I will use Windows Explorer FTP client in this article to connect to the FTP server.
Click on My Computer
In My Computer’s Address Bar type the following FTP URL: ftp://ftp.grouplink.net/incoming
In case of DNS problems you can also try connecting with IP address 166.70.249.9
Files must be uploaded to the "incoming" directory.
You may receive an error but click OK and continue with the upload.
Please remember to name your file CompanyName-TID.ext (i.e. GroupLink-18073.sql).
And also, please remember to notify the technician by phone, email, or ticket update of the EXACT filename (i.e. GroupLink-18073.sql) once the upload is complete.
