For Windows:

If the installer fails while configuring MySQL, please follow the steps below.

1 - Download and install both Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update and Visual Studio 2015, 2017, and 2019 (one install)

2 - Run installer.  If successful, no need to continue to next step.

3 - If installer fails, download and install Visual Studio 2019 Community.  When installing Visual Studio 2019 Community, you do not need to install any Workloads or Individual components.
