To narrow down the list of contacts you can start typing in the text box.  It matches on:

• Last Name
  
• First Name
  
• Email
• Login ID
• Location

If the list is still too big you can narrow it down further by using the correct format.

Using a comma will designate what you've typed as a Last Name.  For example typing

Smith,

will only match where Smith is a Last name,  if you don't put the comma you'll get where Smith is used in any of the fields mentioned above.  In addition typing

Smi,

will match any Last Name that starts with the letters Smi.


To narrow down further you just need to match the format of the other names in the list

Lastname, Firstname (loginId)




Typing in a Location will show all users with that Location.
