If dashboards are not working or you are getting an error and you are using Java 7, please do the following:

Go to the Java Control Panel (Windows:Control Panel, Mac:System Preferences)
On the General Tab, click the Settings button under the Temporary Internet Files section
Uncheck the box labeled "Keep temporary files on my computer"
