Reporting Error-MySQL

When clicking on "Reports" in the Management Console, I get a fatal error. May include the following error:

Error: JDBC exception on Hibernate data access; nested exception is org.hibernate.exception.SQLGrammarException: could not execute query org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.HibernateJdbcException: JDBC exception on Hibernate data access;

This usually occurs with NetWare users and the reason this is happening is because you are running MySQL version 4.0. HelpDesk is not compatible with MySQL versions prior to version 5.0 Although HelpDesk will run with seemingly no problems, it is highly recommended not to run HelpDesk with MySQL version 4. The following article will give further instructions on how to upgrade your MySQL version if you're running on Netware:

http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/netware-installation.html.

If this upgrade does not resolve your reporting error, please review the knowledgebase article titled, "Reporting error-GroupWise", or the article "How to set the JAVA_OPTS variables", or contact GroupLink Support at 801-335-0701.
