Reporting Error-GroupWise


Problem: When I click on “Reports” I get a fatal error. This error may also occur trying to login to HelpDesk using your LDAP credentials when LDAP integration is activated.

You may see the following error: “NoClassDefFoundError…com/sun/org/apache/”


 

Resolution: This is most likely happening if you are running on Netware and you’re using GroupWise integration.

To resolve this issue, log in to HelpDesk as the System Administrator. Click on Application Configuration-Collaboration. Un-check the box next to GW 7.X. Check the box next to GW 6.X (even if you’re running GroupWise 7.0). GroupWise integration is available for Netware only through Internet Explorer and with Active X controls enabled. Your GroupWise client also needs to be open in order to integrate with GroupWise.

GroupWise integration allows you to create tasks, appointments and run busy searches from within a HelpDesk ticket. Refer to page 20-21 of the documentation for a chart and more information about GroupWise integration.

Note: This could also be happening if you are running MySQL 4.0. Please refer to the article entitled "Reporting Error-MySQL" for more information about how to resolve this.
